Founded in 2002, East Dunbartonshire FC has grown into one of the area’s most welcoming and inclusive grassroots football communities. With over 220 young players across multiple age groups, we focus on developing confident, respectful and hard‑working young people both on and off the pitch.
EDFC is built on the dedication of volunteers, families and local supporters. Our coaches are PVG‑checked, SFA‑qualified and committed to Positive Coaching Scotland values. Every child is given the chance to play, learn and grow — regardless of ability or experience.
Our annual festival is a celebration of everything that makes grassroots football special — teamwork, energy, sportsmanship and community spirit. With teams from across the region taking part, it’s a highlight of the year for players and families alike.
Our Academy introduces young children to football in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. Sessions run every Saturday morning at Turnbull High School, helping kids build confidence, coordination and a love for the game.
